Physical Description: Katelyn is a willowy girl with pale skin and short brown hair that is cut off just above the shoulders. She has large grey eyes with thick dark lashes, dark eyebrows and plump pink lips. Her features of her face and body are still soft and feminine however despite in slim frame. Its rare for the girl to wear any makeup other than mascara and when not in her school uniform she tends to prefer comfort over style in her manner of dress.

Distinguishing Features: The most distinguishing feature that she possesses are her large grey eyes. They are extremely expressive and often betray her emotions even when she tries to find them. She also wears a silver ring on her left middle finger that was given to her by her mother after being accepted to Ilvermorny.

The Personal

Personality Description: If one was to some Katelyn up in three words they would be: Loyal, Silly, and Determined. She almost always has a smile on her face when around her friends and does her best to make them just as happy as she is. Kate often looks at the world with a glass half full attitude and tries to see the good in everyone and everything that she comes across.

Ever since coming to Ilvermorny she has made lasting friendships and has always been extremely dedicated to her studies. This however doesn't mean that she is afraid to have some fun or goof-off when the time is right.

Goals: To become a Magizoologist and help save endangered species.

Likes: Magizoology, sweets, rain, transfiguration, orchids, and magic (duh!)

Dislikes: Flying, potions, the ocean, spiders, the color orange

History: Katelyn and her twin brother were born as the only children to a pure-blooded magical family. Her parents, Martin and Layla both attended Ilvermorny when they were growing up and both belonged to the same house as Katelyn does now, Pukwudgie. Martin went on to become and Auror while Layla became a Herbologist. They were married not long after graduation and in two years had Kate and her brother.

She grew up in a home where magic was commonplace and knowing that her and her brother would end up attending Ilvermorny. Because of this the duo were homeschooled up to the point where they were 11 years old and able to attend school. Even as a child, Kate had the same playful and mischievous nature that she has today and was always getting in trouble. Her parents also always knew that she was going to be drawn towards Magizoology or Herbology due to her curiosity about nature and creatures both magical and mundane.

After they turned 11 they both received their expected acceptance letters and got ready to join the school that coming September. Both of the twins were placed into Pukwudgie just like their parents before them. Kate was ecstatic about her placement and even more excited about the wand that she received, thrilled that she could finally learn to do the magic that she loved so much.

During the last 6 years at Ilvermonry, Katelyn's love for Magizoology has continued to grow and after graduating at the end of this year, she plans to continue on in the graduate program focusing on Care of Magical Creatures. A year doesn't go by without her getting in trouble for something, but it has never been anything that has risked her life or her classmates. For the most part it was just been silliness or smuggling magical creatures into the castle.
