Familiar: Rat. Levi's familiar is a pudgy dumbo rat named Sam, who is mostly white with a light dove coloration only on his head. His tail is a bit too short which makes him awkward and off-balanced when climbing. His two favorite things in life are eating and sleeping so the best way to win Sam over is with an offering off food. Any kind will do, he's not picky.

The Physical

Physical Description: Levi is an attractive man with a well-muscled body making it obvious that he cares about his appearance and alludes to the years that he has spent in sports. He has a friendly face with hazel eyes and is often found smiling. His hair is dark blonde but has naturally occurring highlights that come out in the summer. More often than not he has a short and and sometimes scruffy yet well maintained beard on his cheeks and chin.

He make an effort to stay in shape still, even though he is no longer playing Quodpot. His efforts are quite obvious from the very low amount of excess fat on his body and his well muscled arms and chest. His choice of attire, when not required to be wearing the schools uniform, tends to accentuate this aspect of his appearance. He frequently can be found wearing tight fitting jeans and slim fit t-shirts and take tops. The styles are reminiscent of the So-Cal area that he came from but some times have been described as having a hint of "bad boy" due to his black leather jacket and beanies that he wears in the fall and winter months.

Distinguishing Features: The most distinguishing feature that Levi has are the tattoos that cover the majority the skin on his arms. Although he started with one of two while he was still at Ilvermorny the first time, the majority of them came when he was away from the school to play Quodpot. He also has a few tattoos on his ribs and a large on on his back.

The Personal

Personality Description: Levi's personality is pretty easy to read. He isn't a complicated person and tends to express what he is feeling. Most often he is warm and inviting  with a tendency to be outgoing. Levi is a natural leader and while he is competitive at heart he isn't a sore loser. He is almost always willing to talk to help someone out when they need it. While he is motivated and has drive to complete his goals, he knows that not everything is possible and sometimes holds himself to relatively low standards. Levi is a natural flirt and doesn't discriminate on who receives this type of attention, men, women, whoever.

History: Levi was the first born child to two No-Maj parents who had a daughter when Levi was 2 years old. He was born and raised in San Diego, California and as a child, life was great. His family spent a lot of time out doors and Levi inherited the adrenalin junky gene from both his mother and father. He started rock climbing when he was 5 and not long after also started playing recreational soccer. His parents made sure that their children stayed active and grew to love the outdoors.

During this time however, the Lockwoods had no knowledge of the fact that magic was real. This lived normal No-Maj lives and had no reason to expect that there was anything out of the ordinary with their children. So it came as quite a surprise when Levi received his acceptance letter from Ilvermorny shortly after he turned 11. This brought a whole new and exciting element to the life of the boy who already loved life.

His parents were completely supportive of the fact that their son was going to become a wizard and helped Levi get everything that he was going to need to go to school. When that August came around though, Levi started becoming worried about this change because he was moving to the other side of the country and leaving his parents and sister. They provided the encouragement that he needed though and since then Levi has loved the journey that it sent him on.

During the sorting ceremony, Levi had no idea what the different Houses meant or represented and was more curious about what in the world a Pukwudgie or a Wampus Cat were that about the ceremony itself. When it was his turn though the Thunderbird chose him almost instantly and he was happy to join the house.

His first year at school was relatively uneventful and it wasn't until his second year that he discovered the school's sport of choice, Quodpot. From then on he was hooked and worked his way up to Team Captain for the Thunderbird House Team.

During his third year, his sister began her schooling at Ilvermorny and he made sure to look after her without being that over bearing older brother. He let her make her own choices and just wanted her to be safe.

Once Levi reached his 7th year at Ilvermorny, he had decided that he was going to continue his schooling and pursue a graduate program in charms, specifically in healing magic. However the fact that he had become so skilled at Quodpot didn't go unnoticed and near the end of the year he was approached by recruiters at the national level and offered him a spot on his home state's team.

It didn't take long at all for the hot new up and comer, Levi Lockwood to become a well known name in the sport. In les that a year he was given the position of assistant captain for his team and was responsible for bringing them out of a losing streak and winning the Quotpot National Cup three years in a row.

He was with the team from ages 19-22 but during the championship match of his final year, Levi was injured when one of the Quods exploded violently. He was out of commission for a couple of months and an investigation was conducted. It was found that the Quod had been tampered with and enchanted to trigger the explosion when it touch Levi's hands.

Levi decided to take this time off while he recovered to go back to Ilvermorny and work on his graduate program. He has hopes of one day rejoining the team, but for now is happy coaching the Thunderbirds while he continues his schooling.
