Mason stands straight and tall, despite the dangers and hardships of the Wastelands.  He is taller than most at 6' and of a solid, but lean build.  He has dark brown hair and eyes, and has ready smile.  His face and arms are well tanned and wind burned.  There is a charming way about him, a natural charisma.  When working or traveling, he wears a custom suit of leather armor over a pair of pants and sweatshirt.  He is walking around the compound with a pristine laser rifle that has a recon scope mounted on it.  A machete hangs at his waist.  A utility backpack is worn with the extra pouches attached.

Somehow, he has found himself a working Pipboy which he wears, particularly when on the road.  It is a great asset with it's built in mapping program.
