Physical Description:
Disposition: Easy and outgoing, but knows when its time to put on his command hat.
Background: Major Jason “Pirate” Davis began his military career during the middle of the Global Civil War, joining the U.S. Marine Corps and becoming an AV-8B Harrier pilot. His call sign “Pirate” was a result of stealing the personal yacht (and subsequently taking it on a weekend long fishing trip) belonging to the CO of Naval Air Station Pensacola on a dare shortly after completing flight school. If it were not for the fact that global war was underway the career of young 2nd Lieutenant Jason Davis would have ended there.

As it was 2nd Lieutenant Davis survived the war and held the rank of Captain when the SDF-1 crash landed on Earth. By the time of the SDF-1's launch Major Jason Davis was the CO of a Marine VF-1 Valkyrie squadron (VMFA-214 Black Knights).
