The Mage known as Ishtar holds the powers of the Watchtower of the Golden Key.  Her Nimbus is a void of emptiness that has burning stars within it, like the crown of heaven.

An older woman of mixed black and latin ancestry, all is known that her family was taken during an Abyssal incursion. She resulted in her undergoing a mystery play where she as Ishtar, and not Marduk, destroyed the draconic hydra Tiamat. When local Consilium Magi arrived on the scene, they found her, and a wrecked house that had been seared clean of Abyssal corruption by the power of Prime - but seared from intense cold.

To the local Consilium and Adamantine Arrow caucus, she's a dedicated soldier who carries out a rather dangerous profession. While not a full time Abyss hunter, she immediately steps forth whenever Abyssal incursions rear their head.  Her Aetherial Avatar, when summoned, does not appear as a christian angel, but instead manifests as a many armed version of of the Goddess revered by Sargon of Akkad. Of course, there are details that are not historically accurate - "Gods are not bound by trivial things like Fallen history." The fire which she radiates is one of primal darkness, the first Force and element, so mighty it penetrates even down into Stygia, and where all other energy comes.

Personally, like many Arrows, she supports her caucus but otherwise avoids politics. Her personal Obsession is to become more like the personal goddess she aims to transform herself into.  So far, it's looking good.

Personally, while she dresses casually - jeans, T shirts, boots and jackets, she always carries symbols of Ishtar's Mems, or signs of heavenly authority and queenship with her - her unique lapiz lazuli necklace, a rod, and various other details that she uses in her magic. "I'm your bitch street goddess, baby."

It's known that in her sleeper identity that she practices law and provides support to the Caucus and Consilium as well.
