Human Description of General Appearance:
Rainey's physique exudes strength.  Having been honed by being a Shifter in the midst of the Golden Kingdom fight for territory; stormy was a cudgel for her clan.  The muscles below her golden tanned skin are well defined.

At 5'9", Rainey is hard to miss.  Her sandy blonde hair cascades over her shoulders in a golden waterfall.  Trained for battle and speed, Rainey weighs 130 lbs, which iis absolutely clear by the clothes she wears.  Rainey is very comfortable with her body.  She loves a good pair of Daisy Dukes and a binki top, though there is always a slight western edge to her styles.

Stormy's bear fur is slightly darker brown toward her tail gradually lightening to the fur around her nose which is almost white, contrasting with the dark black of her nose and eyes.  Her left front paw is almost black while the other three paws are fairly blonde in color.

Shifter Description of General Appearance:
As with most Shifters, Stormy is larger than the traditional female grizzly bear.  Smaller than her male counterparts, she weighs in at a cool 550 lbs.  Stormy is a blonde version of The Grizzly Bear.  6.5 feet nose to tail with a shoulder height of 3.3 feet.

What brought you to Three Valleys?
Three months ago Rainey's childhood friend, the bear that the entire clan thought would be her True Mate was killed by the California Militia.  They had already been feeling pressures since the connection never took to consider other Mates, but had held out under the stubborn belief that they were meant for each other.  When Ricky was killed, Rainey was immediately approached by several Dominant Males looking to claim her as their mate.

The senselessness of the border war struck home with Rainey.  Her father and her brothers couldn't see her perspective.  One night she packed her duffel, climbed on her motorcycle and left the Territory.  She headed East away from the grip of the Tahoe Clan, knowing that the pack would look for her if she stayed close.

Hearing about Three Valleys she's focused her efforts on going there.  Living in a place without the constant threat of war sounds perfect.  She hopes so.

Love History (If applicable)
Rainey thought that Ricky was supposed to be her True Mate.  There was never really any true connection other than they were good friends since they were cubs. The two of them heard over and over that they would be True Mates, so they both grew up believing it was true.  As they grew older, however, it became clear that the physical connection wasn't there.  Still, the duo stayed true to each other, Rainy because she genuinely cared for Ricky and Ricky because he wanted to protect Rainey from the Dominant males looking to be the new Alpha.  Ricky's death crushed Rainey.  She's still hopeful she'll find her True Mate, but she's certain it won't be with the vultures that were part of her old pack.

5- Your Shifter has been unjustly arrested for disorderly conduct and is thrown in General Holding.  There are seven large men or women in the cell with you.  What does your character do?  If any of the women in the holding cell appeared to be aggressive, she'd take the largest on, showing the other six what they're up against.

Personality Details:
Personality:
When in "Alpha" mode Rainey can come across a little extreme.  Raised by an Alpha father and mother to be an Alpha herself in a war torn territory, Rainey is a take charge woman.  She is strong, but she is also fun loving with a quick sense of humor.  Behind the Alpha is a woman with a warm and loving heart.

The death of her friend made Rainey desire something more.  She doesn't want to be the soldier, the Alpha female, the tougher than nails woman of the Tahoe Clan.  She wants to experience love, and joy, and fun.  She wants to make a connection with real people- to laugh, dance, and perhaps find a Mate that can match her without wanting to own her.  She's looking for a partner, a friend, and a confidant.


Strengths:

Rainey is combat trained and doesn't flinch in the face of battle.  She is a strong shifter but finds that her playful side is an asset as well.  She can be disarming and put people at ease or put them on their guard.  She is also a true friend.  When Stormy gives you her word, you can count that it won't be broken- not by her anyway.

Weaknesses:

Stormy has a little PSD from the death of her friend that she is unwilling to face at this time.  She sometimes will act irrationally when she loses her temper.  She knows this is a problem, so she tries to maintain it.  Stormy also knows that her pride sometimes gets in her way.  It was the one thing Ricky used to check her on- teasing her into seeing things different ways.  She misses his insight.

Fears:

Rainey fears that she is only a soldier, that the woman she thinks she is- is too buried for anyone to see it anymore.  She fears that the only reason a male would want her was to establish himself as an Alpha.  She Fears that her pack will find her and drag her back to the war.

Background/History:

Rainey's father and mother are the Alphas of the Tahoe Clan in California.  The middle girl of a litter of three, Rainey showed high levels of being a Dominant female early on as a child- far more dominant than her other sisters.  Rainey was taken under the paw of both her father and mother and trained to be an Alpha female.  The intention was to have her and her mate take over the clan when her father no longer could or would continue the duty.

In her youth Rainey was only allowed to be around Dominant Males.  Meeting Ricky was purely by chance.  He was a Dominant Male, but a genuinely caring individual.  They hit it off, her quirky personality meshing well with his.  It was clear to the pack that Rainey and Rickey were destined to be together, but as they reached the age of maturity there was no connection.  The couple held off at one point pretending that the connection was happening in order to protect one another.

During the battle of Mitchell Bend Ricky was killed as the Militia launched a surprise breach of their defenses.  Rainy was crushed by the death of her friend, but in the midst of her grief, the other dominant of the males began pressing for her attentions.  Likewise, both Rainey's father and mother began pressuring her to be open to finding her True Mate within the pack.

After a fight with her father that nearly came to claw and jaw... Rainy chose to sneak out of the pack on her motorcycle.  She hasn't looked back.  Her drive toward the Texas Republic led her to Three Valley.  Here she hopes to put war and bloodshed aside and hopefully find a future here in the East.
