Bromley is the second child and only son to the Aveline-Edgeware family. Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, Bromley has lived a life of opulence. Although his parents are encouraging him to find a bride, he is determined to see the world and expand his horizons.

Having sat out the Great War behind a desk (his Father having thrown his weight around at the War Office) Bromley is determined have his own (admittedly more confortable) adventure.  After hobnobbing at summer gala for the Royal Society, a friend of Bromley mentioned an expedition to the jungles of Peru lead by Augustus Larkin.

“He’s looking for backers, old boy. Says they’ve found treasure. I’m sure it’s a beastly place but they may be a bit of sport in it wot?”

Realising that this is exactly the sort of thing he should be doing, Bromley immediately sets about contacting Larkin and offers his resources. A jungle adventure sounds rather grand, and at the very least they’ll be exotic game to hunt.

Ideology/Beliefs: While I've never had much time for religion or politics outside social obligations I naturally err on the side of conservatism. I have a morbid fascination of “Eastern Mysticism.”

Significant people: My elder sister, Octavia “Thistle” Aveline-Edgeware.  She does lark on about a lot of lower-class nonsense but I do love her dearly.

Meaningful location: My families estate in Scotland. It’s where I learned to boat and shoot. My fondest memories are of there.

Treasured possession: A silver hunter-case pocket watch that belonged to my grandfather. It’s inscribed with his initials “J.P.A.E.” on the inside of the case.
