Arthur

Lord Arthur Pendragon is the tall, dashing commander of the aerial legions who was Corwin's right hand during the midnight raid on Nolava, years ago. He personally slew the King of Nolava in one on one combat, and regretfully slew the Queen when she charged at him with a knife to avenge her husband. For years afterward, Arthur reigned in Nolava as Corwin's regent. He was a fair and just lord, but brutal towards the remnants of Nolavan resistance.

A few years ago, his Emperor sent up the enchantress Oriana, his own granddaughter, to be tutored in the ways of the Nolavan Court. He found himself falling more and more for the charming, reserved young woman, and when the Emperor announced that he was to give up his place as regent to Oriana, he did not object. Rather, he smoothed her path to power, and, driven by emotion, he proposed marriage to her. To his delight, she accepted.

These days Arthur can be found tending to Nolava's military affairs, keeping all in readiness for when his Emperor gives the command to expand outward. He is certain that the day will come when Avalon moves out into the Shadows, and when that happens, he is determined that Nolava will march at his liege's command.
