Appearance:

He has pale skin, blue eyes, and medium length black hair in a small ponytail. Several small scars decorate his left arm from a good hit from a Conga early in his Hunting career. Medium build, has enough weight on him to avoid being knocked around too easily. He always carries his Sword & Shield with him, regardless of other weapon. It usually hangs off his hip for easy access while his larger weapon rests on his back.

Personality:
Serious, but not unfriendly, Leon enjoys taking care of the wounded and otherwise taking care of problems. He will take lead if no one else will, but can often be found behind the designated leader.

The only thing that can consistently make him angry is are the signs of a Bullfango or Bulldrome, both of which made his first hunting quest a nightmare to complete. Leon tends to kill or otherwise drive off these annoyances at first sight.

Special Skills:

Leon paid extra attention to the basic medical courses, and remembered a great deal from the more advanced, optional ones. He can easily identify herbs and other plants and organisms that are beneficial for recovery, as well as diagnose many common illnesses (and a few not-so-common). Medical care from Leon is as good as one can get out in the field.

Cold weather doesn't have as much of an effect on Leon as it may on others, due to his upbringing in the snowy mountains. If anything, heading to the Outpost is 'welcome home'.

Heavy duty medical kit with everything he could possibly need, from splints to tourniquets. Enough supplies within to stabilize even the grievously wounded. Too heavy to keep on in combat, usually dropped behind something sturdy to keep it safe.

Medical books detailing anatomy of Humans, Wyverians, and some Lynians. More 'exotic' races (Shakas, mostly) aren't covered in the books. Often kept at the bottom of his med kit.

History:
From a small village in the mountains, Leon wanted to be a Monster Hunter ever since he heard the tales of exploits from visitors from other villages. At the age of 16 he bid farewell to his family (mother, father, and younger brother) and joined the Hunter's Guild, training for years until his first Giadrome kill at 20.

Leon gravitated towards the medical courses, and almost ended up becoming a Guild doctor instead. He feels great satisfaction in helping others, but realized he could help far more by eliminating dangerous monsters from the environment. Still, his medical training stays with him, and he attempts to keep them sharp whenever he can.

He picked up using the complicated Charge Blade rather quickly, though also has an affinity for the Heavy Bowgun and Sword & Shield. He was among the Hunters to respond to the call to go to Outpost Warintla, and is currently in the outpost debriefing the Elder.
