Ashyrel Gealbhan

What games you've played: MH1, MHF2, MHP2G, MHFU, MH tri, MHP3rd, MH3u, MH4U, MHGen, MHW. (yes, I like the monster hunter games :P)
Dialogue Color: Purple

Name: Ashyrel "Ashe" Gealbhan
Age: 87
Gender: Female
Race: Wyvernian
Height: 6'1"

Appearance: Ashe is a tall and lean Wyverninan woman with rich auburn hair and bright golden eyes. As a wyvernian, Ash has outstretched pointed ears and long digitigrade legs with sharp talon-like toes. Despite her lean and frail looking appearance, Ashe is none the less in excellent physical condition as it would be expected of any proper hunter. Her hair would normally be a wild mane of long and thick locks of fiery waves from decades of natural growth but she wisely maintain its length with a variety of braids while out in the wilds to minimize the risk that comes with long hair.

She has a rather lovely face with elegant angles to her features though her smile often give others the impression of arrogance on her part. While she is close to a hundred years old, She still looks like a healthy young woman that one might assume would be between twenty and thirty years of age.

Personality: Ashe is a scholar at heart and she is driven by her need to learn and uncover the mysteries of the world and its inhabitants. While she likes to maintain a wise, no nonsense outward demeanor, Ashe is easily excited whenever she encounters new discovery and whenever she has the chance to study or work with any sort of mechanical devices.

Special Skills:

- Scholar: Ashe has spent decades researching anything and everything she could get her hands on. She is vastly knowledgeable about a great many things which contributes to her know it all personality, but she knows she still has much to learn about the world.

- Gearhead: Few things get Ashe excited as the opportunity to study, repair and craft mechanical devices. With some time to study an unknown devices, Ashe is often able to figure out how it works or how to repair it.

Armor: A set of Girros armor she acquired during her work on the New World and heavy duty goggles to protect her eyes. The armor is specially tailored for a Wyverninan's body type.

Weapons: Ashe's primary weapon is a custom made Mechanical Bow. It's powerful draw focuses on precise shots and a variety of specialized arrows for various situations, including the famous New World rocket powered Dragon Piercer. Electrified arrows to stun targets is one of her favorite trick, but her affinity for mechanical weapons lead to her to craft occasional Sticky Bomb Arrows.

Ashe also carries a Hunter's knife though she much rather not engage in melee combat with most creatures. Still, the knife is a versatile tool for her trade.

Notable Equipment:

-A modified Hunter's slinger specialized for the grappling hook use. With its reinforced frame and gear system, this device is excellent for ascending or descending vertical surfaces or pulling objects from afar.
-A portable workshop station expertly packed into a large backpack that fills up most of her carrying capacity, which explains her preference for her otherwise light gears. While it doesn't have the versatility of a proper workshop, it includes almost everything she might need to perform emergency repairs and crafting while out on a hunt.
-Research supplies, including journals, notes and a collection of containers and phials.

History:

Ashyrel signed up for the hazardous voyage to the New World at the first opportunity and spent the next multiple decades helping the Research Commission uncover the many secrets of the New World. There, she was able to learn much about the world and its ecology. Until the Fifth fleet came around and seemingly solved the deepest secrets of the Islands, much to the astonishment of the rest of the fleets. Ashe herself was not too fond herself of the Hunter's  habit to kill everything in their path, but she couldn't deny their effectiveness.

With the New World tamed, Ashyrel decided to was time for her to return to the Old World. Upon her return, it was not long before all hunters were summoned to some remote outpost in the frigid regions of who knows where. Having survived the Rotten Vale, Ashe figured Warintla would be no problem at all.
