Lady Elaine DuParis, Grand Marshal of the Knights Paladin, is old for an Eladrin. Though still strong of arm, her mind is falling prey to The Madness, the ancient elven curse. She's been seen to stare, catatonic, into empty space for hours on end, only to describe visions of doom. Other times, her emotions shift and whirl, from great sorrow to wrath to heedless dancing. It's the times when she's lucid that she cries most, as she understands what is happening to her. Though she still carries the title of Grand Marshal, she no longer leads the Knights Paladin as she once did, and has turned over day-to-day operations to her lieutenants.
