"There ain't anything in this world like being an adventurer, let me tell you! You get to travel to exotic lands, explore long-forgotten sights, uncover fabulous treasures, meet interesting monsters...then kill them and take their stuff!"

Bodak Steelgrinder is a former adventurer, a self-trained magus who wandered Alrahon and Elondaron as a freelance mercenary for good causes. After numerous ventures, he joined the Draconic Brotherhood, and was quickly made guildmaster of the Brotherhood chapter in St. Clarice (mostly because the old guildmaster had looted the coffers and was looking for a patsy). He managed to turn that chapter around after the successful sponsorship of The Slayers, an adventuring band that played a pivotal role in the Faerie Wars. With that success under his belt, he was promoted, and took over the leadership of the Notre Dame chapter of the Brotherhood after the last guildmaster was slain in one of Blackfire's attacks.

Bodak is about average height and weight for a Dragonborn (which means he tends to tower over others), though he's starting to show his age. He has copper-tinted scales (with some patches of green verdigris which have grown larger as he's grown older), and his eyes are a vivid emerald color. He dresses practically in sturdy adventuring clothes, a dark cloak, and a white tunic. He has a shriveled hand on a chain that he’s quite fond of, which is enchanted with a minor magical enhancement.
