Angels are the servants of the gods, acting as warriors, messengers, protectors, and myriad other roles. They are the most common Celestials encountered by mortals, either as divine messengers or agents of divine wrath. Angels are considered pure and good, but it would be a mistake to assume this always means they're nice -- many angels can be cold, arrogant, judgmental, or violent, especially those they believe are beyond redemption.
