Take

Take makes an impressive sight, as would most Goliaths, yet his glowing emerald eyes and calm behavior
sets him apart from his brethren that tend to be more impulsive and and reckless. Take already at a young
age became fascinated with nature and the nature of the world, studying it at every opportunity. This led
to opening his mind to the spirit world and eventually to a religious awakening. Still, his mind set on unlocking
the secrets of the physical as well as the spiritual world made him look into himself and wanting to explore
his own limits. He began training as a monk, devoting himself to meditiation and prayer to Kavaki, the
ramlord, while being taught the way of the priest by the tribe's councelor. Take made great progress in
both diciplines, displaying both the mind and brawn necessary to excell. Disaster finally struck though,
when their mountain village fell after being besieged by a fallen T'ien Lung, assisted by a clan of ogre magi.
While many goliaths were slain, the purpose of the attack was clearly to enslave as many as possible. Take
and his clan were immediately marched away and put to work in excavating the mountain. Take does not
know the reason for this, but suspects the Lung is looking for something buried in the rock. Other races
had already been enslaved and where working frantically in the mine.
Take, with the help of his teacher and two other goliaths was able to escape their pen, raid the ogre treasury
for equipment and escape. His teacher, the clan shaman, and the goliath braves were all caught by the raging
Lung, He decided to leave the mountain, hoping to find a way to return and free his people, while warning others of the
 renegade Lung.

Take stands seven feet tall and is massively built, even for a goliath. He is bald except for a ring of black hair
tied up neatly at the back of his head. Being a follower of Kavaki, he is proud of the two large lithoderms on
each side of his forehead, reminiscent of broken-off ram horns. With his jutting eyebrow and rough features
he looks like cut out of rock, and the blue-gray complexion of his skin only adds to that impression. Across
his body are the intricate patterns of dark and light patches his race associate with their fate. Take keeps the
meaning of his patterns to himself.

Dressed in simple clothes and carrying no other visible weapons than a spear and a walking staff, the size
of those weapons make him look more intimidating as they look like they were fashioned for giants (and indeed
were). Take however has no trouble wielding them with deadly force and accuracy.
