Ludo is an old man, though it's hard to accurately judge his true age on looks alone. He could be a hard 40 or a youthful 70, though as rough as life can be out in the Belt something closer to the former number seems most likely. His neck bares the scars of old vacc suit burns from back when the cheap suits used to malfunction; younger Belters tattoo their necks as a reminder, but Ludo needs none. His official personnel file lists him as 52 standard years old, but that could be entirely made up.

Like most Belters, Ludo is tall and lanky, with little fat to spare. His once dark hair is now salt-and-pepper with an extra dose of salt. Though he lacks the neck tattoos common on younger Belters, he has a variety of black geometric tats on both forearms, the side of his head, and likely elsewhere on his body.
