~Vigo

Vigo knows how to smile a little, but not a lot.  Despite the fact that this native of the Boston-DC Sprawl is a 5'5" mutt with Aztlandic features but the lighter complexion, thicker hair, and gray eyes of an old world Sicilian, Vigo tries to look his best wherever he goes.  Favoring fine clothing and tres chic, great grooming and 100-nuyen designer sun glasses, he is a young man in his early- to mid-twenties who has already learned the power of image and reputation.  And the sometime stoic grimness that stiffens his smooth face proves he's also learned that image and reputation mean nothing if you can't survive to benefit from them...

Vigo got his start out east in the Boston-DC Sprawl, and when he's relaxed, it shows by way of a lower south side ethnic neighborhood Boston accent.  His break into shadowrunning was noticeable there, but after a year or two he departed the profession to work exclusively as a well-connected fixer for the shadowrun community, dealing specifically in contraband arms.  Now he's putting his name out there in the shadows again.  He is a crackshot with pistols and has developed good working experience with heavier weaponry including assault rifles (a dealer knows his products) and brings with him a strong reservoir of contacts.  He is a networker face as well as a seasoned field mercenary with some professional skill in First Aid.

A few things he's known for:  treating his Johnsons like respected patrons, and the few shadowrunners who've seen him in action can quote him on pointing out that a Johnson deserves 110%, because pleasing a good Johnson opens the door for further business.  Also, aside from the internal smartlink system, Vigo is queasy about the concept of cyberware.  Loading one's body up with rough, uncomfortable metal and plastics is a personal choice, and like smoking, its a personal choice he adamantly refuses for himself.  He's hoping that alternatives to that field of "personal modification" appear on the market sometime soon.

As far as job preferences go, Vigo is very liberal about what he's willing to undertake; while wetworks and outright acts of terrorism are not his forte, he understands that, sometimes, ethics have to take a back seat.  And you can always hope the shadows mask your face when they do.
