Description (Note: this describes Shane before he became a verser): Shane is a college student living in the United States. He's of above average height(5'10"), and he weighs 164 pounds.
He's a pretty open-minded, compassionate individual. If someone requires assistance, he will gladly help them out, as long as it doesn't impede his progress to his goal by too much. Shane's not afraid to make new friends, but he also realizes that he can't trust everyone. He prefers to talk his way out of a situation rather than fight through it, though he does realize that there won't always be a peaceful solution to one. Shane is fascinated with extraterrestrial life, and hopes that, one day, humanity meets another sentient race, preferably a friendly one.
Shane is doing pretty well in College. It's not without it's downsides and unlucky days, of course, but so far, he's doing well. Shane's planning to major in English, Psychology, and American Government. He wants to become either a politician or a psychologist later in life. Having used computers since he was 4, Shane's always been pretty knowledgable about them as well.
Ironically, even though he prefers peace over strife, Shane is what some call a "gun nut". He is fascinated with modern weaponry. It's not a creepy obsession or anything of the sort, he's just intrigued by the way they work. Shane studies a lot about the various militaries of the world as well. He heads to shooting ranges often, trying to improve his accuracy, and to familiarize himself with various weapons.
When Shane turned 21, he bought himself a SIG P229, using money he saved from his teenage years and the money he earned from a part-time job. He bought it for self-defense only; Shane hopes that he never has to use his pistol on someone else, but he knows that, in this world, you can never be too careful.

Traits: Shane has poor eyesight, so he must wear glasses. Physically, he's not very strong, and he's a bit on the skinny side. However he makes up for this with his agility; he moves quite fast, especially if he's in full sprint, though he's no athlete. Shane is also a quick learner and a pretty smooth talker.
