Elric Bösemann is sleaze incarnate. He's ruthless, cold-blooded, incapable of any noble emotion, and willing to kill any victim or commit any depravity - for the right price. Anything that will get him ahead at the expense of his enemies is fair game. He kills dispassionately, claiming it’s all just business. He enjoys taking his prey by surprise and hiding in the shadows, as well as preparing a trap or two.

Bösemann is a tall, strong human male with fine, almost elven features, long, straight black hair slicked back, and blue eyes behind small round glasses, dressed in a white silk shirt and black silk pants. His clothing and equipment are all high quality.

His many underlings in Andamar call him Boss Man, a name he despises. Lexar, who never called him that, was his best pupil, and went on to become the most feared, notorious and insane criminal Andamar has ever seen. Lexar was eventually killed, but Bösemann's existence was unknown, and remained so until recently: he remains a mystery to this day.

His ability to leap into shadows and disappear, along with his equally frightening ability to be almost anywhere, know almost anything and be able to convert almost anyone to his cause, makes him a serious threat. His M.O. involves crushing the very spirit from his victims, time and again, until their guilt, sadness and despair drives them to madness or suicide. So far, given the number of victims he's left in his wake, and the number of followers who have died in his schemes, he's been quite successful.

Recently, he seems to be trying to mend his shattered past, and has taken a liking to a Priman merchant's daughter, Emily Chadwick.
