A somber man in somber clothes, Gwire has dedicated his life to hunting down abominations, especially the undead.  He has shown some success in his career, although he has found himself to be a greater aid to his alies through his mystical incantations than from his combat prowess.

Gwire wears plate mail and carries an enchanted staff and a sling at his belt.  Various herbs and a set of wooden stakes hang from a bandoleer across his chest.
