Like most dwarves, Uri looks a bit tough and tumble, and he is exactly that. The morningstar at his side is proof of that. Get beneath his veneer and you will note that unlike other dwarves, instead of enhanced strength, he has enhanced agility. That might account for the short bow on his back.
