Description:

Lin stands at about 5 ft 5, weighing approximately 124 pounds. She has a lean build that seems to favor dexterity over strength, and she has trained herself to be ambidextrous ever since a small incident where she had sprained the wrist of her writing arm and found herself unable to make notes during classes. She has a fair skin, and sea green hair, falling down to halfway between her shoulder blades in length. Her hair color is the only visible sign of being a Changeling.

In terms of clothing, Lin prefers to wear shades of green, accessorised with some colored beads as accessories. Her preferred type of clothing generally consist of either short- or longsleeved shirts, a simple looking pair of trousers and a green cloth sash that she wears around her waist. On her feet she usually wears brown boots that were made from a type of plant growing in the Saffron area. To keep her hair from falling in front of her face, she wears a small hairpin with a coral gemstone embedded in it, a gift from her mother. She keeps it with her at all times.

History:

Lin is from Saffron City. Wanting to follow in her mother's footsteps she became a trainer, taking good care of her Pokemon. One of the Pokemon she grew up with was a Gardevoir, and it agreed to join her after she graduated. Knoiwing each other through and through, excellent teamwork got her the Marsh Badge, though victory had been a close one. After celebrating her win, she joined a caravan heading for Vermilion City, she was eager to add more badges to her collection, though it would take her three attempts to win the Thunder Badge. By this time, a number of locks in her hair were already turning green.

When she was heading to the next city however, the caravan she was on was attacked, and at one point she was standing eye to eye with a charging Absol that had ventured out from the nearby caves. Panicking, she closed her eyes, bracing herself... and felt nothing. When she opened them again, she was in an unfamiliar place, near a village she did not recognize.

A little exploration later taught her that the village was called Suyilu, and she guessed that she must have used Teleport, messing up the targeting. Faced with all her possessions still being on the caravan, including her Pokemon, she figured the best thing to do was to wait until her Pokemon tracked her down again, or she was in a position to go look for them.
