Description:

Samantha has a tanned skin and sleek black hair falling down to halfway between her shoulder blade in length. When she talks, one can hear a faint hispanic accent to her speech. Her face, once heart shaped, has started to become rounder due to the effects of the Change. Her nose has also become more pointed, and even though it has not Changed to the point where it would stop appearing human, it is the part of her that she regrets the most about it.

She has the tail and ears of a Rattata, and at the moment can mostly be seen in baggy clothing. This is not very surprising given that she is the mother of a litter of seven, and giving birth had triggered a Change that left her about a foot shorter than she had been, but allowed her to breastfeed all of them.

Sam's children are everything to her, and she sees them as a sign that the Change does not mean the end of everything. Having found a large part of what she had lost again upon reaching Suyilu, she has taken up her Faith again as well.

History:

Samantha was living on the Indigo Plateau, working as a technician to reset the puzzles every time young Trainers felt like they could take on the Elite Four. After the Change became more and more a part of everyone's lives, she still worked on the traps in Victory Road, this time to keep the Pokemon themselves out and provide a safe refuge for the refugees.

On a personal level, things were going great. She had an important job seeing to the defense of Indigo Plateau, was having a stable relationship for a year now and had recently heard she was pregnant. Around her third month however, she was bitten by a Rattata after she had accidentally stumbled too close to its nest, and contracted the Change.

Her boyfriend, upon hearing teh news, immediately broke off the relationship and cast her out, and she was forced to leave the haven she had had a hand in building. Wandering around aimlessly, she stumbled upon Suyilu a week later, passing out near its borders.

After waking up in a clinic, she momentarily thought she had had a bad dream, but unfortunately reality was not as forgiving. Using her expertise she help construct most of the defenses of Suyilu, and focused almost entirely on her unborn children to keep from collapsing emotionally.

Some time after the birth of seven healthy Rattata, Michelle, Steve, Linda, Sue, Mary, Jake and Tyler (in that order) she met a man named Evan, and became close friends with Evan Durans, one of the newer arrivals.
