Dragonlance DnD3.5 - The Path of Destiny

This campaign begins with a selection of adventurers who have used the city of Flotsam as their home base for years. Lord Toede, the hobgoblin ruler of Flotsam, has now handpicked them for a secret mission. My intention is that a number of initial quests/missions/adventures in and around Flotsam will lead into the published Age of Mortals adventure campaign, but your choices are your choices.

As this campaign uses the Kalaman Timeline (TM), rather than the official timeline, the Summer of Chaos and the War of Souls never happened. And the titular city of Kalaman is located on the north side of the Vingaard River and thus in Solamnia. And where Palanthus, yes that's the proper spelling in this timeline, is the Jewel of the West, Kalaman is the Pearl of the East.

If Real Life encroaches, as it sometimes does, please let me know and we can handle the in game effects.

This is a game both for those that know the Dragonlance setting and those that do not. And I expect both types to be able to enjoy this campaign and perhaps for the first time have a character that goes all the way to level 20 or beyond.

Some information that can be most useful, especially for those that do not know the Dragonlance setting. It is the fall of 404 AC (after the Cataclysm). In the Cataclysm, the Gods threw down a fiery mountain on the city of Istar and changed the geography of Krynn forever. Then they turned their backs on Krynn and no True Cleric was seen until the Godsbringers brought the gods back in 352 AC. After the Cataclysm, gold was seen as useless for anything but ornamentation and steel (stl) became the new monetary unit.
