Appearance:
Tall, lean, immaculately dressed in old fashioned suit and business atire. Doesn't hide his wealth. Blue eyes, slightly greying hair,  black mustache, in mid 40's. Pale sickly features. Very intense gaze. Calm peaceful demeanor. Quietly spoken. Scar from hairline over left eye to jaw, eye patch left eye, hook left hand

Background
Born on a small P&P world to parents who were both teachers Eugene grew up with a sense of the value of learning and knowledge instilled in him. Encourage from a young age he attended University on Mort on an academic scholarship studying medicine with an emphasis on Pathology and Forensics. Pleasant and social enough he eschewed the mass media culture of Mort prefering instead to spend his time on more cerebral pursuits.

With little interest in live patients he quickly rose through the ranks of the pathology lab he'd been assigned to after his degree. His talents were recognised by a Shiver Special Investigations squad who recruited him as a Special Agent providing consulting services in serial killer cases. He became a rising star of the Shiver Special Investigations unit developing a reputation for brilliant almost un-natural leaps of logic.

Identified by a SLA scout he slightly reluctantly accepted employment as a SLA OP. Finding the violence of most OP's distasteful he focused on more investigative BPN's seldom staying with the same team for long. As he moved up the ladder he frequently was 'drafted' in for specific BPN's More interested in the challenge than the rewards he deliberately avoided Third Eye News BPN's and known 'Media Darlings' prefering to work in the shadows.

His dislike for the media came to a crisis point when during an investigation into a serial killer he kneecapped a camera man, sound technician and reporter who had just tipped off a Serial Killer letting him escape Eugene's clutches. The subsequent investigation put the incident down to 'accidental discharge of fire arm' in an attempt to white wash the fuck up and Eugene's reaction to it. Needless to say 3rd Eye News teams now have a dislike for the shadowy investigator.

Things went from unfortunate to worse when on the next BPN Eugene's investigations into a raid on a data centre lead to the termination of 3 top level Cloak Operatives who were 'anonymously' exposed to a 3rd Eye News crew. Certain factions in Cloak take the view this was Eugene's doing to ensure the matter wasn't covered up.

Thereafter he concentrated on more off planet work for a time returning to Mort when tempers had calmed somewhat. With one of the highest success rates for serial killer BPN's and investigations Eugene has started taking on slightly more varied work as a challenge. He's looking for a team that would allow him to expand his repetoir and help make some useful contacts.

Throughout his years of working for SLA Eugene has been quietly and mentally gathering information on how things work. He keeps his level of insider knowledge to himself knowing that with information comes danger. Still he's seriously bemused by some of the goings on.

Eugene has saved his income from BPN's and invested in property outright owning an apartment on Mort and a holiday home on his homeworld.

Eugene collects old books and charcol drawings. He dislikes computers and prefers the use of printed material. A throwback to his childhood.

His hobbies include playing Go, composing Haiku, relaxing at his private gentleman's club (members only) known as Huxleys, smokingn imported cigars, enjoying the companionship of women, reading. Of late he has begun meditating and learning to cook oriental food with a focus on noodles.

He eschews all sponsorship as vulgar and only tenuous Departmental affiliations.
