DESCRIPTION

Ragnar is built like the typical dwarf, short, wide and sturdy. He is somewhat
slenderer than the norm, like most grey dwarfs, but with tight corded muscles,
he is just as tough. His skin is grey, like stone or a corpse. Like any dwarf,
he has a round heavy head but his face is gaunt and grim. His eyes are grey,
gleaming with a steely determination. He is entirely bald, but he has thick
bushy eyebrows and a neatly braided goatee beard in grey-white wiry hair. His
is a face unused to smiling, but it's not unknown.

He's armoured in a black leather jerkin and pants over tough travelling wear,
covered in simple but well-made armoured: breastplate, greaves and bracers
with a bullet-shaped helmet rammed firmly onto his head. Carefully etched
into the breastplate is the hammer-and-anvil symbol of Moradin. A grey cloak
hangs down off his back.

In one hand he clutches a battleaxe, a simple weapon of straightforward violence,
it's blade notched with frequent use. The other is strapped to a large steel shield,
with many repaired dents and scratches, and again etched with Moradin's symbol.
Small axes made for a throwing are dotted around his form, one strapped to his
boot, and more at his hips and strapped to the inside of his shield.

Two belts around his body hold a number of useful items, potions and tools. A
backpack laden with gear and tools shows that he is a dwarf who comes prepared.
