Despite her reputation, Paige Nelson isn't a bad girl; not the gold-digging tramp she's rumoured to be. But coming from a poor family (at least compared to the wealthy locals like the Chasers and Shaws) taught her long ago that stability and financial security are as important as good looks and love in a successful relationship.

Paige is in several of Kyle's classes at university, and they have been going out for sixth months. In contrast to his rakish looks and wicked reputation, he's the first boy that hasn't tried to rush into bed with her; just the opposite, in fact. While usually affectionate and always romantic, Kyle has always put off Paige's sexual advances, saying that he wants to wait. This has left her frustrated, and even a little insecure, wondering if Kyle doesn't find her attractive.

Paige is a willowy, lissome blonde with a slender, shapely figure, creamy skin and green-brown eyes. She prefers longish summer dresses and the like over jeans or short skirts.
