Tanith is a fae princess, a queen-in-waiting of the Otherworld, currently residing on Earth - either to season her with experience or because no-one could stand her meddlesome, teasing 'pranks' any more, depending on who you ask. Anastasia's nymph ancestor was a member of Tanith's court, so when she arrived on Earth the fae decided to bunk with her 'long lost friend', and has been Anastasia's constant companion, occasional lover, and irredeemable trouble-maker ever since. She seems to light in exercising her mystical powers to cause her friend problems (often strikingly naughty ones), but has a good heart and a sunny disposition.

To a human, Tanith looks like a five foot tall, slender little dynamo of mischief, with long silver hair, pert breasts and a bounce in her step. She has huge, almond-shaped blue eyes that are far too innocent to be trusted. A tattoo of a briar patch, complete with blood-red roses winds across her back. To eyes attuned to the supernatural, her wings can be seen as twin rainbow halos hovering at her back, and her fae powers tend to bleed into the environment around her, causing little outbursts of chaos: dice rolls strangely, accidents and lucky breaks abound, and dead flowers bloom back to life.
