Christian Glass strives to fit in - and to excel. Born in New Orleans he learned to play the piano in between sweeping up and busing glasses in his mother's jazz club. His natural talent was coached and inspired by the various musicians that passed through the club (and his mother's bed), but the rough, seedy surrounds gaze him plenty of physical and emotional scars. As the club's fortunes declined over the years his mother turned to the heroin needle for solace, and the clientele and quality of the men got worse as the relationship between mother and son grew more fraught.

At 17 he won a scholarship to a prestigious London music conservatory and moved away from home to face a different kind of trouble: fitting in with the mostly posh students and foreign culture. He developed an iron sense of discipline to keep up with the strenuous studies and paying his way by bartending and gigging. When he graduated he moved back to the US, but his burgeoning music career was interrupted by his mother's downward spiral. Unable to muster the enthusiasm for music he once had, he turned to the production and management side of the business and proved quite successful.

Christian is 31, though his serious, intense demeanour makes him seem older. He stands a graceful 6'5", with a lean, toned physique from running and playing basketball. His hands are large and elegant, with long, strong, nimble fingers that are talented in so many ways. He rarely smiles, but his deep brown eyes sparkle and teeth gleam when he does. Because of his troubled upbringing Christian hates feeling out of control, and his few past relationships have tended to end due to his girlfriends calling him a control freak.
