appearance: Ferasans are closely related to Caitians. Ferasans are bipedal, have tails that assist their balance, extended maxillary canine teeth and large eyes with excellent night vision. Their skin is covered with a soft fur coat, and their felinoid ears can pick up frequencies that most humanoids are unable to detect.

Personality: usually easy going and hard to get riled up, she enjoys being by herself or working alone but when she does have to work with others prefers not to be the one in charge as she doesn't want to end up regretting having someone do something that ends up getting them killed, but she's fine with putting herself on the line to protect others, especially those that she considers family and friend.

Background: M'kasirako was born and raised on a Feresan colony but her and and her parents didn't fit in well with the rest so when she was 10 her parents left their home for a Klingon colony nearby and once there they both applied for scientific jobs and where accepted. M'Kasirako was fine with their new home though she tended to get in fights with alot of the Klingon children and she made an impression on some of the KDF parents when their children told them who had beaten them up. In fact she had made such an impression that one KDF officer actually went to her parents to ask that he be allowed to train her to fight like a Klingon. Her parents agreed and from then till she was 25 M'Kasirako trained as a member of the KDF, after her training was done though she left the colony and to the slight disappointment of her trainer who was also now a good friend went into mercenary work until more recently when she was requested to join a Klingon detachment that was going to K-10.

The Ferasans and Caitians were once a unified species, but an extensive genetic engineering program has greatly modified the Ferasan genome. Ferasans consider themselves to be superior to Caitians, and most relish the chance to prove that superiority in combat. Ferasan society is dominated by clans of inter-related family groups who band together for defense and conquest. Loyalty is highly prized among Ferasans, although betrayals are common. The greatest honor a Ferasan can give to a clanmate or Captain is to remain faithful through adversity.
