Character description/personality:
Akemi is a killer. Being an assassin is all she has known since as far as she can remember. This equips her with the ability to kill complete strangers without thinking of the consequence. As long as those are her orders, she considers her act to be not hers, but rather the act of her superior. So if a superior orders her to kill an innocent and she learns of this later, she will kill her superior and be guilt free. However, few humans are depraved enough to completely disassociate themselves. Akemi has a number of personal rules she layed out for herself to make sure she is guilt-free. So far, these rules have worked well for her.


Combat tactics:
Always, always, ALWAYS start from a distance and in the shadows. Stay in the distance if possible. Stay hidden if possible. If neither is possible, it is time to go to her swords Mary (Katana) and Sue (Wakizashi). She wields both at the same time, having a beautiful defensive technique with them. It is also her way of symbolically having honor like the classic samurai. But that is where the honor ends, for there is never honor in combat as far as Akemi is concerned.

Character background:
Akemi was raised in a ninja clan. It wasn't an evil clan or an especially good clan, but it was good nonetheless. The clan's focus was to do what other good-aligned types weren't willing to do: Kill people preemptively for crimes they either hadn't done yet or couldn't be proven guilty of. These are people who adventurers normally don't come across because they aren't in dungeons and they cover their tracks well. But not well enough to hide from the Clan of Whispers. Akemi is one of many from this clan and continues in its service.
