Thin woman of Japanese heritage, Shizuko is a student at the University.  She's very much an American Girl, much to her parent's dismay.   She even colored her hair a more auburn color.

Yumi Touma is her cousin, who lives on the outskirts of Centropolis and promised to be a "surrogate mother" for Shizuko as a promise to the girl's nervous father.
