This enormous, well-muscled dog has a large commanding head with dark eyes forming an intelligent expression, and stern appearance.  It's rough coat is a dense but flat mahogany brindle with white patches, more profuse around the neck and legs, with black shading on the face and ears.  His tail is long and heavy, hanging low with the end turned up slightly.
