Planescape: Center of All
This is a Planescape campaign, which means the worlds and settings you will find yourself in may vary greatly. As a whole though, this game will be dominated by fantasy settings. There are two pools of players in this game:
- The Planewalkers are a smaller group that find themselves traveling from Plane to Plane, their adventures don't always tie in with each other, so the format ends up similar to the old TV show Sliders. Survival is the primary motif in this group.
- The other three quarters of the players are part of groups that are stationed in Sigil. Much of what they do involves the city, though they frequently find themselves out on the Planes. The politics of the cage and the kriegstanz itself tends to play a larger role in their adventures.
Understanding of DnD and access to the 3.5 rule system is required, knowledge of the Planescape campaign setting is not required.
My primary goal is to at least run through all the published Planescape material, I collected them all years ago and want to use them at least once before getting rid of them. :-) Once we get past Faction War, things will be more sandboxy, and likely shaped by the actions of players who have cultivated their own organizations. Loners will have a more reactive presence in the game. Probably something along the lines of how Birthright is run.
