In appearance, Abby is rather pretty and attractive, and very charismatic and engaging as well.  Her agreeable demeanor and ability to comfortably act like "one of the guys" helps obscure her dogmatic approach to life, keeps her from appearing to be too much of a "goody two shoes," and helps keep people from being repelled by her devotion to Eyratha.  She wears no armor and instead wears clothes normally suited to males (with a hooded cloak), but there is no mistaking her for a man.
