Grundrin is tall for a dwarf; standing 5’4 and is heavily muscled from long hours at the forges and smithies of his master.  His coppery red beard hangs down almost to his belt in four long braids, kept tightly woven and held together by several iron ringlets and clasps.  His hair matches his beard and is swept back in a braided ponytail that hangs to just below his shoulder blades.  His sharp blue eyes are set in somewhat craggy features and remain ever watchful.

Rarely is he seen without his mail and leathers on, and his axe close to hand if needs be.  The remainder of his clothing is sturdy and functional, if somewhat worn and in muted colors.
