Togo Took

Togo is a pretty rare creature these days. Halflings tend to be more concerned with staying alive and eating then dabbling with magic. One can find a little magic among halflings but rare are the ones that have both the talent and commitment to stick it out for any length of time. Togo was considered 'odd' from the getgo as a child. He had an unusual affinity for plants and animals that extended beyond his childhood years and never left him. While he could often be found talking to flowers and petting mushrooms he had a kind heart and always tried to help when and where he could. He wasn't much of a fighter but he certainly had a talent for healing plants and animals. So, despite his oddities he was tolerated and became known as the go to halfling for stuff about nature.

Despite his small size and stature he was a lot tougher then he looked. Often taking extended journey's and trips into the wilderness to observe and learn all he could. On one such trip by chance he encountered a druid who immediately saw his love of nature and brought him under his tutelage. It wasn't long before Togo became a full fledged druid and was only one of a handful of halflings that ever graduated from the druid academy.

It wasn't long after he became an *official* druid that he ran into the halfing Ranger who called himself Storm Rider. They shared a common ideal to rid the lands of evil and protect halflings everywhere. While most halflings were content to let evil come to them, Storm Rider and Togo Took, took the initiative to patrol and seek out evil wherever it may be. Their proactive approach earned them a reputation as capable hearty adventurers. Often underestimated for their size and ability, these two veteran battle-scared halfling adventurers are capable of bringing down some sizable foes.

Togo's character is still based largely from his adventures with Storm Rider which tend to be the 'get em' hack 'n' slash style play. Figuratively speaking whether it's melee weapons or spells. Also, Togo is a bid of an odd ball on the druid front where he values 'getting it done' over potential collateral damage. Most druids place a very high value on preserving nature and not damaging it. While Togo won't purposely damage animals or nature his actions may often result in collateral damage which put him at odds with a number of druids including those who attended the academy. This was why he was sort of 'asked' to take his advanced studies in the field sort of speak. The senior academy druids were hopeful Togo would learn the error of his ways but instead he ended up befriending the notorious were-Ranger Storm Rider who is a short step away from being a full blown insane berzerk halfing fighter. Needless to say, this partnership didn't do anything to advance Togo's desire to hold back firepower when fighting.
