Jestrynara Silverveil (usually Jes, to non-elvish companions)is a Schwarzwald Elf by birth.  She is also a survivor of the holocaust at Beda, where the Huns slew or enslaved most of the Elves who once resided there.

She stands 5'2", with a mane of silver hair, most commonly worn in a simple pony tail rather than elvish braid.  Her almond shaped eyes are a dark, human brown: out of place with otherwise purely elven features, and owing to a human ancestor. Her personality is sharper edged than many Elves, less light of heart. This is not to say that she is grim, or does not possess a sense of humor, however.

Jes is a stealthy, agile swordswoman who favors the rapier, and dabbles in illusion and some other basic magics.  Expecting combat, she goes armored with mail-shirt over ebon leathers, often with a buckler. She prefers a composite short bow at range.  Bedecked for battle, or dolled up for deception, concealed knives are rarely far from hand.
