Lt. Kovich is the head of the troops stationed at UtopiaNevada.  She is professional, organized, and is very by-the-book.  Lt. Kovich ensures the security of the base, orients the new arrivals, and teaches the Military Procedures course.

Lt. Kovich spends the majority of her time in her office.  What little off time she has is spent in her rooms, and she does not leave the base, even on weekends.  While she makes reports to Dan Walker, and her superiors off base, she has few, if any, personal relationships.  Her office is sparsely decorated, and has no pictures or other personal items.

Update: Lt. Kovich was placed on extended medical leave after the incident with the nova popularly known as Freak.  After the end of her leave, she was permanently discharged and given a full disability.  Her current whereabouts are unknown, though rumor has it she is consulting for various nova-focused intelligence agencies.
