Samuel Wolfson

Samuel Wolfson was a very quiet child. His mother died while giving birth to him, and he always blamed himself for it. The rest of his family never held anything against him though; she was a proud, Native American woman who only put stock in natural and holistic medicines. It's a wonder she gave birth to three other children. Despite all this, Sam couldn't get over it. As he grew older, he grew more and more introverted, pushing away his friends and family. One stormy night, during a visit home from college, Samuel locked himself in his old room for what seemed like forever. His family finally decided to take action; they broke down the door, and tried to force him to talk to them. Sam lost it. He began raving about how he murdered his mother, how it would be better if he wasn't born at all. He ran outside without ceasing his rant, yelling more at himself than at those who were trying to help him. The storms rage seemed to mirror his, and at the apex of his madness, a bolt of lightning struck him, and he erupted in a fountain of quantum energy.

Samuel Wolfson is a handsome young Native American man of 23, and of slight build. He has a light brownish complection, with somewhat angular features. He rarely cuts his scraggly black hair, so it hangs over his eyes on occasion. It's his eyes that his family finds most unsettling. In an instant, they went from an incredibly dark brown, to a vibrant, electric blue. His choice of attire isn't particularly flashy. He's rarely caught in anything other than his reinforced eufiber outfit, though it's appearance is subject to change due to his growing control over the material.

Sam's personality completely changed after the accident. He was no longer angry with himself for what had happened all those years ago, it wasn't his fault. He comes from a long line of stubborn people, and his mother was no different. He is now much calmer, and happier. He enjoys helping people, and will go out of his way to avoid physical confrontaion if he thinks it will benefit someone. He's absolutely fascinated by all things related to electricity. He finds it much easier to think and work out problems when he's observing some sort of electrical phenomena.
