Triton

Before he took on the mantle of Triton, Chris Campbell lived in Calgary, Canada.  His life before 2006 was a series of disappointments characteristic of the nova-age: a career never manifested for the young man despite his education and his family connections, his love life was a series of alcohol inspired flings that always ended poorly, and his blonde hair, high cheekbones, college-sports-and-CrossFit honed physique felt like an afterthought compared to the physical perfection of nova-kind.  Directionless, he wandered, picking up whatever jobs would let him travel or else skimming money off of his parents.  From 2004 though early 2006, he somehow disappeared into Australia.  His family reported him missing, but he'd either found a very, very good hiding spot or else fallen in with a strange crowd.

Then, in 2006, he returned, erupted and turned Elite.  He never returned home, instead working in the South Pacific and constructing a new identity around a prop, a gas-mask converted to look like a bug-eyed space helmet.  Triton, the Hero From Space, used strange alien technology to fire beams of coherent light, fly through the air and create a shield of force to protect him from Earth's novas.  The persona sold some action figures and t-shirts, but ultimately Triton wasn't charismatic or hammy enough to pull it off.  Despite having all the powers of the amazing novas, Chris Campbell remained unappreciated.

Out of conscience and distrust over the events at Bahrain, he shied away from the easy money at Utopia and the Teragen.  For months, he floated around Southeast Asia and Oceania, eschewing consistent work and making a living performing extraordinarily dangerous assignments for DeVries, then blowing the money in a whirlwind before facing down death again.

Triton is 5'8" and 160lbs.
