Havaland is a scarred warrior that appears to have been through some tough fighting. He stands a few inches over six feet and is leanly muscled. He has close-cropped dark brown hair and cold blue eyes. He isn't overly handsome, nor ugly, but women find him attractive.

Havaland usually dresses in an old work shirt and heavy trousers unless he's expecting trouble or on the move, then he's wearing his armor. A variety of weapons can be seen about his person, a sword, daggers, knives and a crossbow. He obsesses over keeping them all sharp and clean, handy for use.

The most immediately notable thing about Havaland is his eyes. They are remorseless and cold, the eyes of a killer. They are scary eyes, yet not without some character as the man has been raised to do what he does and at times choses to be gentler and kinder than the iron discipline imposed upon him demands.
