Varithmel is a tall elf of thin build though one might say medium by elven standards. His long flowing silver white hair contrasts his fair complexion and blue eyes. Along with a long sword at his waist and long bow over his shoulder one can often see him studying his grimoir or spell book which is always kept protectively close at hand.

Varithmel Silvershen has a long family history with the high elves. A number of past relatives even held prominent positions in various points in elven society  history. Varithmel has reached his coming of age (100 years) and as customary has set out to learn about himself and the world in which he lives after learning typical elven skills of combat and magic.

After attending and graduating the customary schools of combat and magic Varithmel did an appenticeship with a well known elven master fletcher(bowman) named Taranis Swiftbow where he learned the basics of bow crafting and arrow production.
