Background:
Sondar grew up in tree houses in the forest with parents/siblings.  Father died in a war with orcs/trolls.  Mother is a healer.  Middle child is a sister, also a healer.  Youngest sibling is a half-brother.  Mother married into nobility after dad died.  Dad was in honor guard for elven royalty, step father is Captain of honor Guard.

Sondar served in military as a ranger 100 years, then was sent to magic school in the city.  Studied magic 200 years.  Sondar is not in line to inherit anything from step-father.
Sondar is humble and quiet, keeps his head down and is thoughtful before he acts.  He is most comfortable in the forest or plains.  He mistrusts city folk and nobles.  Sondar has scars on his back and face from mistreatment by step father.
