Zmija is a Cleric/Monk dedicated to the worship of the dark and mysterious Rus deity called Veles, the God of the underworld, travelers, merchants and bards.

Like his god, Zmija is dark and somewhat mysterious. He is fanatically devoted to Sviatoslav and the growing empire of the Rus and to the dark power of Veles.

He is tall and thin, perhaps wiry would be a better description and both dark in complexion and hair color. He dresses in simple brown and black robes and tunics and carries a simple quarterstaff as his only weapon. He is however quite skilled in combat despite looking a bit like a wild hermit.
