Jessica Athena aka Captain Jessie aka The Dark Pirate

Jessie is 5’6” in height with red hair and blue eyes. She became the captain of the Shiloh upon her father’s death who was the Captain prior to her. She grew up on the ship having been taken on board as a young child after her mother succumbed to illness when she was 10. Her father was able to disguise her as his cabin boy until one day she decided it was time to stop hiding who she truly was. She was 16 and proved herself worthy of the crew and worked her way up to become her father’s first mate.

The Shiloh had always been a night time master of the sea. They would follow their prey by day, always staying just out of sight and then at night fall, switch the sails to black and attack their prey. The captain became known as the Dark Pirate and even now, no one truly knows that Captain Jessie and the Dark Pirate are one and the same, except her crew who are sworn to secrecy.
The ship itself is painted in darker colors so at night with her black sails, the Shiloh isn’t seen until it is too late.

As for family and love. Jessie is a loner…she has yet to meet that right person to capture her heart. She has no other family, losing her only remaining family member in a battle at sea. Now her crew is her family as she seeks to be the best pirate captain on the high seas.
