Natasha

Natasha is one of the more gifted monks Heironius has at his disposal. She is strong, wise and capable. She is fairly pretty, with long sandy blonde hair and a few noticeable curves under her practical and humble brown monk's robe, though she largely passes by with little attention directed to her, mostly because of her quiet nature. This is how she likes it, and it helps her to focus on Heironius.

As a child she was slightly strange, and shared a greater bond with the birds and beasts of the surrounding countryside than her peers, but this is not to say she was without compassion for her human counterparts, just that animals seemed to understand her, and vice versa. She was even rumored to have a similar bond to the earth itself, but if this is true nobody has found evidence yet to prove so other than an uncanny sense of direction, and she declines to discuss such topics. 'A secret makes a woman a woman' is one of her favourite phrases.

She was sent to the local monastery at a young age to learn what she could, as her parents were baffled for what to with the quiet, gentle and disturbingly focused little girl. There she quickly formed a bond with the monks;they were like her, and understood each other well. She learned quickly, as only those with a passion for learning can, and excelled in the rigorous spritual and physical routines practised by her new brothers and sisters.

Like every true monk, Natasha's body is her most effective weapon, but as all monks, she also studied more conventional means of settling disputes.
Natasha chose to forgo the common weapon choices each monk makes to learn and make their own, as she felt more practical tools were better suited to her kind of service. Hence her first and favourite weapon is a simple rope lasso, which she has learnt to do quite amazing and resourceful things with. However on her travels she soon learnt the necessity of a more direct means of conveying one's point, so to speak, and took up a set of Attli, a weapon she had once seen one of her older brothers practising with.

Once she felt she had learnt enough to be a force for good in the world, she made her case to the abbot and he gladly allowed her to leave the moastery and practice the ways of Heironius as she saw fit. On her travels she met a charismatic fellow servant of Heironius and they recognised in each other similar goals and naturally formed a strong team. They have been travelling together since, and have quite a few good stories between them.
