Mikos lives in the shadow of his father, Stannic the Strong. For years, Stannic was reknowned for his great strength and ability in combat. What wasn't so strong, however, was his loyalty. When Mikos was only 6, word reached back to the village of Northshire that Stannic had betrayed his companions to the Dark Elves, and was now a lieutentant in their armies. Whether or not this was true, the fact that none of his party returned alive gave credence to the claim. At that time, the Village was simply a few small buildings and the Fort was smaller. The Fort's commander of the time, Captain Ephraim Schoss, levied the accusations about Mikos' father, and declared that Stannic's family would pay the price for Stannic's betrayal. Mikos and his mother, Sharra were stripped of their home, and their belongings sold to pay for the needs of the families of those betrayed. Sharra became a washerwoman, making a meager living, while Mikos learned to survive on his own. Mikos had managed to remove his father's shortbow and tools from their home, and used these to learn how to hunt for his survival. He learned how to use the tools for fashioning new arrows, and eventually crafted a longbow for himself. Three years ago, Captain Schoss was transferred out, the Fort was reinforced and made bigger, and Captain McAlistair was promoted to the position of Fort Commander.
   Over time, Mikos has made a reputation for himself as both hunter and bowmaker, and manages to provide a sustainable life for himself and his mother. But even though he lives in North Shire, people still treat him with suspicion, believing him to be just like his father. This has made him sullen and unfriendly when he isn't working. He stands at 5' 9", and weighs about 155 lbs. He wears studded leather armor and carries a longbow.
