Sani is tall and while athletically built is no physical powerhouse, although he is astonishingly graceful and precise in his movements with exceptional fine-control and co-ordination. He is pale for a Southerner  wears his midnight hair long and held back in a queue with a series of handwrought gold clasps. His features are strong but angular with a hawkish nose and penetrating black eyes. He dresses well in well-made but unornamented Southern clothing, although he does show a fondness for jewellery
