Rake Adder is a young man, almost out of his teens.

He is just under six feet tall. He has broad shoulders and a big frame full of lean muscles from working on the farm all day. His eyes are slate grey set in a handsome young face, cleanshaven with strong features, and his hair is a dusty, bleached brown colour. His skin is a sun darkened tan colour. An old shaggy farmdog, affectionately named "Dog", accompanies Rake almost everywhere.

He is used to wearing simple farmers clothing, (Frayed pants and shirt covered by a light jacket, sometimes with a backpack, often without shoes) but he has recently aquired a finer set of clothes which he wears on special occasions.
He has recently taken to wearing weapons, so it is not surprising to see him with a sword or axe strapped to his side or back.

Although Rake had a rough childhood, he retains a positive disposition.

His body language is casual and he has a warm and friendly personality. He is slow to anger, shy around pretty women, and always laughs at the joke. He is new to citylife and so sometimes Nexus leaves him shocked or awed giving him the look of a simple country bumpkin.
