The Colosseum (DnD 3.5)
The Colosseum is an arena game using the 3.5 DnD rules. Characters start at 5th level and move up the ladder as they defeat other characters. In addition to the main ranking culminating in the "Champion of the Colosseum" title, there are separate rankings for each category (monster battles, team battles against a similar team of gladiators and team monster battles) as well as Tiered Champions.There are: duels, team battles, free for alls, boss fights, monster battles, team monster battles, ranking ladders, a guild system (mostly for role-playing reasons), ect. Over 56,100+ posts - (150+ posts in the last week) very active game. There are currently 3 GMs. We run a very smooth game that's fast moving. The game has been consistently played now for over 4 and a half years - averaging roughly 36 posts a day for 4 years, so you know this is here to stay :).
This game is heavy in combat, but there are outlets for roleplaying as well with the Garrulus Pub and Winery thread where you have the option of meeting other gladiators in character. If you have any questions, please PM GMs Titus, Rufius, and Cassia.
